Invopak are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2017 E3 Business Awards, which will be held at the Macron Stadium in Bolton on Thursday 13th July 2017.
We were selected from amongst hundreds of nominees to become one of the finalists for the prestigious Customer Service of the Year category.
Speaking on behalf of the company, Chief Executive, Arjen Cooper-Rolfe said:
“We are absolutely delighted to be shortlisted as a finalist for Customer Service of The Year Award. To make it as a finalist is a huge achievement and it's a testament to all the hard work we have done together as a team over the past few years.
Recognition for outstanding customer service like this does not simply happen overnight. We have made remarkable changes within the business to revolutionise customer service in our industry so that we become the supplier of choice for plastic and metal packaging.
We have a strong sense of Purpose as to why the company exists beyond simply making money. Our company's priority is enabling our customers to get their products to market with confidence. Our Purpose, supported by the company's Values, drives day to day business decisions. It's our Purpose and Values led Performance Culture which focuses on exceeding our customer's expectations that has led to us being shortlisted.
We have identified over 150 small improvements which, when implemented, have had a hugely positive impact for our customers. These improvements include our customer welcome packs - an idea suggested by one of our drivers, picking list checks every morning, automated delivery notifications and many, many more. Furthermore, every colleague within the company has visited one of our customers to gain a deeper understanding of why they ask us to do the things they do. We call this our 'Walking in Each Other's Shoes' initiative. This initiative contributed to several operational improvements that we wouldn't have understood or valued had we not undertaken this.
Additionally, we are the only company in our industry to have achieved the Feefo Trusted Service Award 2017 - which recognises our customer service based on independent, purchase-verified service feedback. This reinforces our decision that basing our performance on our World Class Customer Experience strategy rather than only a one-dimensional sales strategy was absolutely the right thing to do. I'm so proud of my team's achievements so far. Everyone at Involvement Packaging has made a difference to the customer experience no matter what their role in the company. It has been achieved through hard work and continued effort for which I am very grateful.”
"Each year, it becomes more of an achievement to win a finalist's place," said Mubarak Chati, Managing Director of 1 Events Media, which hosts the E3 Awards. "Every year since we've started, we've seen an increase in nominations and a corresponding increase in quality. This year, across all seventeen award categories, we've seen an increase of around 18% on last year.” "We've had nominations from throughout the North West and we've seen real strength in all areas. One of the big surprises has been the number of entries from new businesses, digital, creative and media sectors, women in business and voluntary organisations. It's always been a key purpose of the Awards to celebrate the achievement of all parts of the community - not just the mainstream – women, charities and social enterprises coming forward in such numbers is very gratifying indeed.” "Given the number and the high standard of entries, we certainly gave the Nominations Panel a difficult job. They have risen to the challenge, though, and their final selections represent the very best of the whole North West region. For Involvement Packaging to have been named as a finalist for 2017 is an achievement of which it should be very proud."
