It's National Apprenticeship week!
National Apprenticeship Week aims to shine a light on the amazing work being done by employers and apprentices across the country.
We’ve experienced first-hand how much value apprentices bring to our business. We’ve had apprentices in Systems & Technology, HR, Warehouse Operations and Communications. All of which have continued to accomplish fantastic achievements within the business.
We’ve been described as “One of Britain’s most progressive companies in its approach to people, inclusion and customer service – with a groaning sideboard of awards and independent accolades to prove it.”
Our most recent independent accolade includes being named as the Employer of the Year at the Lloyds Bank National Business Awards.
After being named Employer of the Year, we featured in an article where our CEO Arjen commented: “I’m really excited to start spreading the word about how empowered people build more resilient businesses. Invopak will always champion a people-first approach.”
Our people-first approach includes our commitment that every single colleague in the business has a High-Performance Plan. This entails quarterly goals and personal development goals to work towards.
“Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at 20 or 80. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young.” – Henry Ford
We often refer to this quote and it’s printed on one of the walls in our offices. It’s also one of the reasons why everyone has personal development goals on their High-Performance Plan. These goals aim to stretch and empower colleagues to learn new skills and develop.
Due to the continued success that we’ve had with developing talented apprentices, we are huge advocates of apprenticeships. We wanted to show our support to National Apprenticeship Week by announcing that we’re currently recruiting for 2 Digital Marketing Apprentices at our head office in Hyde.
