Pride of Tameside Large Business of the Year 2017

The Pride of Tameside Business Awards took place at Dukinfield Town Hall on Thursday 2nd November 2017.

The Pride of Tameside Business Awards highlight and reward the outstanding work of the most innovative and inspirational businesses and people in the borough of Tameside. The awards span 20 categories and the event was attended by over 250 people from across the area. The Pride of Tameside Awards originally commenced in 2009 to recognise the achievements of the students of Tameside College and following their resounding success, the awards have expanded to include Business, Sport and Volunteering.

Involvement Packaging were delighted to be shortlisted in two categories – Family Business of the Year and Large Business of the Year. Winners were selected by a panel of over 20 judges with long and varied business backgrounds.

The event also helped raise money and awareness for The Anthony Seddon Fund – a Tameside based charity helping those with mental illness.

Involvement Packaging were delighted to be awarded Large Business of the Year, sponsored by Brother UK.

Speaking on behalf of the company, Chief Executive Arjen Cooper-Rolfe said:

“Involvement Packaging is very proud to have been selected from the shortlist of fantastic Tameside businesses for Large Business of the Year. Despite being a global business, we are very proud of our heritage here in Tameside. Being shortlisted is a privilege, but to win this accolade clearly differentiates us from our competitors and gives the talented and dedicated individuals within our business the chance to celebrate our success and look back on just how far we have come.

We caught the attention of the judges through the work we do around delivering exceptional customer service – we call it our World Class Customer Experience. We have also shown the commitment to developing both opportunities across our 4 divisions and to the people who work within them”.

Indeed, comments from the judges reflected exactly the sentiment that Involvement Packaging are striving to achieve:

“The Judges saw here an exceptional company with a five-year plan outlining their diversification and expansion of product set. They are innovative and offer fantastic customer service. A truly world class company operating within the Borough”.
