We’re delighted to share that in addition to giving £1 to the NHS for every online order we receive, we're also donating 600 litres of hand sanitiser to care homes, food banks and other social care and charitable organisations local to each of our 4 depots based in the UK and Ireland.
We’ve been working flat out through the coronavirus outbreak to keep vital supplies of packaging coming through to the NHS, local authorities and businesses of all kinds throughout the nation – so it’s great to be able to put our packaging network to such good use.
To help as many organisations as possible, we have dispensed the sanitiser into 120, 5 litre jerry cans. We are looking to distribute the sanitiser to vital organisations such as care homes and food banks who can make good use of a bulk supply, rather than individuals.
The sanitiser has been provided free by our customer Hybrisan, an Advanced Antimicrobial Specialist based in Port Talbot. Hybrisan’s WT Surface and Hand Sanitiser is a water-based sanitiser offering prolonged protection against bacteria and viruses. The product is effective against bacteria up 99.999% to BS EN 1276 and BS EN 13697. Effective against all enveloped viruses in <2 minutes to BS EN14476 including all coronaviruses and SARS-CoV2.
We’re inviting organisations in need who are local our depots in Manchester, Warwickshire, Glasgow and Dublin, to request for one of the 5 litre jerrycans of sanitiser by contacting Kinsey at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’ll operate a contactless collection service from our depots.
