Do you need to pay plastic tax on recycled plastic buckets?

No, you do not need to pay plastic tax on Invopak's recycled plastic buckets. Packaging made from at least 30% recycled plastic is exempt from the plastic packaging tax (PPT). Our buckets are typically made from 70% recycled plastic, so they are free from plastic tax.

Are buckets made from recycled plastic suitable for food?

Due to the nature of recycled plastic and its traceability, our recycled plastic buckets are not food-grade. Please order from our standard range for food buckets.

Can recycled plastic buckets be printed?

Yes, recycled plastic buckets are suitable for IML printing, and we also offer a printed label service for lower print runs. Please get in touch to find the right printed bucket for your business.

Are recycled plastic buckets recyclable?

Yes, recycled plastic buckets are made from polypropylene, which can be recycled. Also, because buckets are mono-material, they are easier to recycle compared to multi-layered packaging that must be separated.
