Our History

We retain the best of our past, whilst embracing change wherever necessary.

1974

Our Foundations

1974

Involvement Packaging is set up as a UK distributor/agent, based in the Midlands with its primary focus of supplying plastic (PP) buckets to the food, chemicals and coatings industries. Involvement Packaging pioneers the introduction of new products and develops the market for plastic containers in the UK.

1988

Involvement Packaging grows considerably and in 1988, we developed our market further. Our product range is extended to now include a wider range of plastic containers, including HDPE containers.

1996

Growth Through Acquisitions

1996

Involvement Packaging acquires Kenyon Containers, a company based in Manchester with a strong 70 year trading history specialising in tinplate products. This leads to the expansion of our UN Certified Tinplate range.

Their distribution network allows us to better serve customers in both the North and South of England.

2005

Involvement Packaging acquires De la Pak. The merger of De la Pak and Invopak leads to the creation  of the trading name, Invopak.

This strategic acquisition allows the Involvement Group to again increase our product offerings to include a high quality range of Aluminium containers, predominantly used in flavours, fragrances, essences and speciality chemical sectors.

2006

Involvement Packaging acquires Dublin based Ashtown Packaging, a manufacturer and distributor of packaging containers with a history dating back to 1917. Ashtown Packaging keeps its name and becomes a division of Involvement Packaging Ltd. Ashtown proves to be a strategic fit allowing Involvement Packaging to service customers in both Northern Ireland and The Republic of Ireland with ease.

2006

The development and growth of Scottish markets leads to the acquisition of L&B Containers in Glasgow, now adding a fourth distribution centre to Involvement Packaging and completing a series of acquisitions designed to offer total coverage of the UK and Ireland.
