Are lever lids and pail lids recyclable?

Yes, all of our tinplate lids are recyclable. They are made from metal, which is recyclable forever with no loss of quality.

What is the difference between plain and lacquered lids?

Plain lids have a plain internal finish and are suitable for oil and solvent-based coatings and finishes. Lacquered lids have a protective internal finish and are designed for storing water-based products.

Do lever lid paint tins come with lids?

Many of our smaller sample size paint tins, including our 125ml to 500ml cans, come complete with lids. Lids must be ordered separately for standard paint tins, such as our 2.5 litre and 5 litre sizes.

What are metal paint tin clips for?

Metal tin clips are designed to be used with lever lid paint tins. The clips fit over the rim of the paint can to secure the lid for safer shipping. They are typically used in pairs.

Lug lids are also known as flower-edge lids; they have small metal tabs that hook under the rim of a metal pail to create a secure seal. They are designed for industrial, machine-fitted applications.
