Sustainable Packaging for Recyclers and Waste Businesses

Waste recyclers and sustainable waste businesses can now choose packaging to match. Our Eco-UN plastic containers are made from at least 30% recycled plastic and are UN certified.

The recycled plastic range includes stackable jerry cans, plastic drums, tighthead drums and IBCs. These recycled plastic containers are made from at least 30% recycled plastic, so they are exempt from packaging tax.

Our HDPE plastic and metal containers can be reused multiple times and recycled after use. We also offer reconditioned steel drums, which have been professionally cleaned ready for re-use.

How can I identify a UN certified container?

UN containers must be marked with their UN code, which is typically either embossed or printed on the base or side of the packaging.

Are these containers suitable for laboratory waste?

Invopak's rigid containers are suitable for laboratory waste. The right choice will depend on the chemical, biological and physical properties of the lab waste. Heavy duty HDPE jerry cans and IBCs are ideal for liquid chemical waste such as solvents, acids and bases. Steel or tinplate UN drums can be a good choice for bulk lab waste. It is also important to follow all regulatory requirements, including labelling and COSHH measures.

Do you offer low minimum order quantities for independent waste businesses?

Our packaging is available to order in pallet and pack quantities, with a low minimum order value of £50. This means you get great wholesale prices and a wide choice of rigid packaging to choose from.
