Borosilicate glass has high thermal resistance and chemical durability. This is achieved through the addition of boron trioxide in the manufacturing process. Vessels made from borosilicate glass are suitable for laboratory and kitchen use.

Do glass bottles and jars come with caps and lids included?

Yes, our reagent bottles, powder bottles, and glass vials come complete with screw top closures. Closures must be ordered separately for our Winchester glass bottles.

What are coloured glass containers used for?

Coloured glass containers, like our amber glass bottles and jars, block UV light, they are used for light-sensitive powders, pastes and liquids.

What sizes of glass sample vial bottles are available to buy online?

Sample bottles are available in a wide range of sizes. The smallest size is 1.75ml. 7ml and 28ml are also available to purchase online, with other sizes available on request.
